Sweet n Sour Pineapple Chicken






Nowdays Chinese food plays a very important role to Indian culinary scene. I have not tasted any authentic Chinese food till now so I do not have any experience about that.But I love Indo - Chinese dishes which are easily available in any Indian Chinese restaurant or multi -cuisine restaurant.
Sweet and sour chicken is one among them.You will get different variations of sweet and sour chicken recipes.Here I had added  pineapple chunks , sweet chili to sauce and vinegar to make this dish,and it tasted so yummy.Do not need to believe me, just try this recipe and see the result.

Ingredients
~~~~~~~~~


  1. Chicken Breasts-250 grams (boneless)(cut into cubes)
  2. Red Bell Pepper (Red Capsicum)-1 (cut into slices)
  3. Pineapple (fresh or frozen)-1 cup (cut into small chunks)
  4. Garlic-5 pods (chopped )
  5. Sweet Chilli Sauce-1/4 cup
  6. Vinegar-1teaspoon
  7. White Pepper (or black pepper)-1 teaspoon
  8. Spring onions-1/4cup (green portions)
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Flour-1.5 cups
  11. Eggs-2 
  12. Cornflour-2teaspoon mix with 1/4cup of water)
  13. Vegetable oil -2cups (for frying ) + 2 teaspoon

Method
~~~~~~~

  1. Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat properly with little bit salt
  2. Take flour in a wide plate and mix with little salt
  3. Coat the chicken pieces with flour then dip into the eegg mixture
  4. Coat the chicken pieces again with flour
  5. Heat 2 cups oil in a heavy bottomed deep wok
  6. Fry the chicken pieces into batches until golden brown
  7. Remove the chicken pieces from wok and keep them aside
  8. Heat 2 teaspoons Oil in another pan
  9. Add chopped garlic , fry until light brown
  10. Add chopped red Capsicum and sauté for 2 minutes
  11. Add chopped pineapple, mix and stir
  12. Add salt and pepper
  13. Add sweet chilli sauce and mix
  14. Add fried chicken pieces and toss with everything
  15. Add cornflour mix with water
  16. Add 1 teaspoon vinegar, mix and cook for 2 minutes
  17. Switch off the heat and add chopped spring onions. 
  18. Serve hot with plain rice or any flavored Chinese rice

Tips
~~~~~

Always make any Indo Chinese dish on high flame , so the dish doesn't get burnt from the bottom, keep stirring the dish.
