                       Grilled Egg Cheese Sandwich

Me,my husband and daughter love grilled cheese sandwich, so this is a common breakfast for weekend.

I love experimenting with all kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches, but my kid like it when I keep it simple. So, I knew that I wanted to come up with a grilled cheese sandwich that we would all enjoy.

I think this is perfect not only for breakfast, but for lunch or dinner as well.

INGREDIENTS :-

2 slices of white  or brown bread
1/4 cup grated mozzarella  cheese .
Butter-1.5tsp
Garlic  Paste-1/2tsp
Parsley  (chopped )-1tsp
Egg-1
Sale  to taste
Black pepper powder -1 pinch
Italian Seasoning -1pinch
Mayonnaise-1tsp

DIRECTIONS
Heat 1 tsp butter in a medium-sized non-stick frying pan over low flame .Add chopped  parsley  and garlic paste...mix well for 1 minute. Keep it aside.

Add ramaining 1/2sp butter in a pan...When it's very melted, crack one egg . Poke the yolk with the eggshell (or a fork) so that it run into the whites.Sprinkle salt and pepper on the egg. When egg  has set (edges seem firm), flip carefully.I usually end up flipping them a few times to make sure the yolk is thoroughly cooked (it's okay if it's a little soft inside but not runny). Turn onto the  plate.

Spread garlic paste mixed butter one side of each slice of bread.

Place one slice of bread, butter side down . Place fried egg on the bread. Then place grated cheese top of egg..sprinkle some Italian seasoning and salt (if required )
Spread mayonnaise  on one side  the other  slice of bread  and place it on cheese with the butter side up.

OTG Method:-

Grill it on a preheated  oven  at 240 degree C for 2-3 minutes or until outside of the bread is slightly browned and the cheese is starting to melt.Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for 2-4 more minutes or until the second side is done and the cheese is completely melted.

Gas Stove   Top Method:-

Put  one thick tawa on gas...when it is very hot...put a frying  pan on tawa (as below mentioned picture) simmer the gas....place sandwich...cover with  lid...cook on low flame for 1-2 minutes  until  cheese  is melted completely.

Sandwich  Maker Method

If you are using a sandwich  maker  you will not need to flip the sandwich, just put the sandwich  in a sandwich  maker and follow  the  instructions of your sandwich  maker.

Enjoy your Grilled Egg  Cheese Sandwich  with hot coffee.
